Driveway Pressure Wash and Re-sand in Watford

The Brief

A block paving driveway in Watford had lost its colour under years of moss, weeds and ingrained grime. The joints had washed out and weeds were coming through. The owners wanted it brought back to life and the sand replaced so it would stay cleaner for longer.

What We Did

Our work included:

• Cleared the surface: Weeds and loose debris were removed and the whole driveway was pre-treated before washing.
• Deep pressure clean: The block paving was cleaned with a rotary surface cleaner for an even, streak-free finish that lifted the moss and grime out of the surface.
• Detailed the edges: Borders, edges and awkward corners were cleaned by hand so the whole driveway matched, not just the open areas.
• Re-sanded the joints: Fresh kiln-dried sand was brushed into the joints and vibrated in, locking the blocks back in place and helping to keep weeds down.
• Final tidy: The driveway and surrounding paths were rinsed and cleared, leaving everything clean before we left.

The Result

A driveway that looks close to new, with the colour of the blocks restored and the joints re-sanded to keep it stable and weed-resistant. A dramatic difference that lifts the whole front of the property.
